Both myself and my daughter have volunteered at this facility.  This farm is home to roughly 50-90 horses daily and unfortunately, due to the rough economy, has had to house even more equines than it is designed to maintain. This farm is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization and relies primarily on volunteers and donations.  This is a wonderful facility and you can make donations at their website listed above or volunteer your services.

Lab Rescue LRCP in another great organization in the Maryland, D.C. area. This organization had found homes for many Labs and continues to have a need to find loving families for these dogs.
