johnpic.jpg

John arrives to the DCMAG Team after 20 years of service to the United States military. He recently retired from the U.S. Navy after serving as a Hospital Corpsman and a Search and Rescue Helicopter Crewman and completed nearly 60 rescue missions with over 50 lives saved and received an award from the President of the United States for Heroism. John joins the crew after much paranormal research and after experiencing paranormal phenomena as a teenager in Maryland. He also recently received his Certificate of Completion from Culinary Arts School where he studied to be a Chef.  John has been trained in basic investigating, inhuman cases, clearings and psychic defense and he's ready to take to helm from Al and run DCMAG.

Spencer,
Investigator/Analyst

Bio_pic.JPG

Spencer joins DCMAG with fifteen years of photographic experience -both behind the camera and in the darkroom- and a background in RF electronics.  An interest in electronics and electronics gadgets along with a desire to learn how things work led to many things being taken apart when he was a child.  RF electronics training in the USMC gave him a strong attention to detail and a 'work smarter not harder' resourcefulness.  Although raised in the Northern VA area, he has also lived in Southern California and Central Illinois and currently lives in Arlington.  He currently works at an engineering firm that specializes in electrical and mechanical engineering.

Margaret,
Investigator / Historian

Margaret possesses an extensive background in networking, security and computer forensics, teaching at several local colleges, and is in the process of finalizing her dissertation to complete her Ph.D. in Organization and Management with a specialization in Information Technology. She also serves as a senior manager with a No. Virginia technical consulting company that specializes in providing security services to government law enforcement agencies. Having been fascinated with the field of parapsychology since the 1970s, Margaret's principal paranormal interests are with Dr. Steve Rorke's work with EVPs and Michael Persinger's research of the impact of electromagnetic waves on the brain. A direct descendant of Sir George Calvert (Lord Baltimore) and cousin to Robert E. Lee, she is also an avid local history buff and genealogy researcher.

Kim,
Senior Evidence and Research Analyst /
Investigator

November2005a.jpg

Kim comes to DCMAG with an extensive background in photography, film, and literary research. Her expertise in identifying aberrations in film negative and photo print development and manipulations of digital media are the result of thirteen years' experience with film photography and processing. In acquiring her Bachelor's degree in English, she focused her literary research primarily in the fields of sociology, psychology, and human history. She is currently a graphic designer and print specialist, and spends much of her free time with soccer: as a player, league board member, USSF-certified referee and an avid DC United and Chelsea FC fan.
